New research adds to the already hot trend of high intensity training
(HIT). As little as 75 minutes a week of vigorous exercise can add 3.5
years to your life according to the National Cancer Institute (and life
to your years might I add). Other recent research shows HIT burns 6 times the body fat
compared to moderate exercise. The WHO says an estimated 80% of the
world population fails to meet minimum recommendations of 30 minutes,
5-7 days a week. It is no wonder that HIT has caught fire. It is a time
sensitive approach and an effective one at that if programmed correctly.
Bottom line is this...
If you are not working out...it may not be working out...
